This facilitator's guide will walk you through the chapters of the Emotional Fitness workbook. It will help the teacher or small group leader prepare for each lesson.
The workbook presents a practical, biblical perspective on human emotionality. It discusses the primary painful emotions (hurt, anger, fear, guilt, condemnation and stress) of your “emotional cup” and then leads you through biblical antidotes for how to resolve those emotions.
This resource helps the reader address painful emotions through the context of a loving relationship with God and other people.
You’ll learn the how-to’s for healing painful emotions so that you’re free to experience more joy, peace, contentment and abundance in life.
Great for individual study with your spouse or journey-mate.
Ideal for men’s/women’s small groups and care-giving settings.
Perfect follow-up after an Intimate Encounters marriage class or small group.
Unconditional love is eagerly promised at weddings, but rarely practiced in real life. As a result, romantic hopes are often replaced with disappointment in the home. But it doesn’t have to stay that way. The Love Dare, as featured in the popular new movie Fireproof (from the makers of Facing the Giants), is a 40-day challenge for husbands and wives to understand and practice unconditional love. Whether your marriage is hanging by a thread or healthy and strong, The Love Dare is a journey you need to take. It’s time to learn the keys to finding true intimacy and developing a dynamic marriage. Take the dare!
This daily devotional tool will not only give you a personal look into the marriage relationship of authors, David and Teresa Ferguson, it will help you grow in your own ability to join with God in meeting your spouse’s needs.
We have divided this book into fifty-two themes, each one covered in a seven-day block. For example, one week addresses the need of acceptance, another week the need of attention. By meditating on one aspect of marriage for a seven day period, you’ll come to understand more fully the things that make marriage all that it can be.
Perfect complement or follow up for couples in an Intimate Encounters small group or class. Ideal gift for a wedding or newly married couple.
Great introduction to healthy marriage principles through the “story” of a mentor couple.
In this resource, you’ll learn about the most important intimacy needs and how they can be met.
You’ll learn what it sounds like to meet the need of attention, what it looks like to show support and how impacting it can be when we meet the need of comfort.
You’ll learn how God has met these needs for each of us and then discover the rich potential of relationships when we meet these same needs in the lives of one another.
At the end of each chapter you will find discussion questions and suggestions for practical application – ideas which can enhance any friendship, marriage or family.
A great follow up for an Intimate Encounters marriage class or small group.
Perfect for partner and small group experiences.
Ideal introduction to relationship principles for anyone hoping to deepen the connections among friends, family and ministry settings.
